Rose Flower Paintings Lavendar Whispers
This pretty little rose painting convinced me to paint on a larger canvas. It is probably the only 10" x 8" original oil painting you will see, at least in the near future. It was fun to paint, especially capturing the light and shadows and touches of lavender on the tips of the rose petals. But the drama of a larger canvas is now a welcomed challenge. Enjoy!

Rose Flower Painting Powdered Touch of Pink
A rose painting that at first glance appeared to be a white rose hiding in the garden, but soon I discovered that it was tinged with soft touches of sunshine and sweet pink. I had to paint it! It was a challenge to remember that the painting was a white rose! Then I added a dark olive green background that makes the white rose blossom on the canvas. Gentle elegance!
